Elijah - South Ponto Beach
I had the pleasure of sharing this afternoon with the sweet little man you see pictured above. This shot of Elijah happens to be my favorite because he is so happy in it. You see, he just got the camera he's shooting with for Christmas as a present from his parents - and is learning how to use it here. And it's clear he obviously liked what he saw in the viewfinder because he is smiling. This made me smile out loud myself. Not everyone can relate, but there is something magical about picking up a camera and seeing the world through its viewfinder. It is empowering.
I've shared more shots of our afternoon below. :)
The brazen gull pictured above swooped down from the sky and stole the starfish we had been busy photographing in the sand. Ha ha ha. We laughed so hard as it flew away with its newfound treasure. Shameless thing. ;)
Chasing Gulls Away
It's a tough job but somebody's got to do it. Thankfully, for me [Phew!], Elijah was up for the task. "Go! Get out of here you thieving gull!" Hah! ;)
Thanking the budding photographer, Elijah, who has a beautiful eye for composition and is brilliantly eager to learn more about light, for a fun day had out and about shooting photographs yesterday. I had fun with you. Can't wait to do it again.
