"How's this for a pose, mom?," he asks me.
"Oh, it's fabulous," I tell him, holding back a chuckle.
He really is darling, and it catches me off guard sometimes just how darling, and makes my heart swell four times its normal size.
"I thought it'd be a good one for you!," he says, then puts on his best camera no teeth grin for me. Again, he is darling.
"Hold still," I say. "Let me get you properly exposed . . . Almost there . . . Okay, got it! Thanks, baby."
He's got a sweaty head from playing basketball out back, and cookie crumbs all over his no longer clean shirt. And even though he cringes (I see him doing it) every time I ask him to be my model for something I'm practicing with (as you can see here it was my backlighting this time), he will grin and bear it and pose for me anyway. What a good sport he is.
Oh how I love my little man.
Happy Sunday, and to all the lovely fathers out there, Happy Father's Day to you. :)
