Roads and railroad tracks are two of my favourite things to photograph. It doesn't matter where they are going, they'e off on an adventure.
Yes! An adventure with an incredibly good story just waiting to be experienced and told. Trains are cool in that way. ;)
Railroad tracks are always intriguing...love the light in this and the images of the 2 people adds to the intrigue!!
Thank you, Deanna. I was intrigued by the two at the end of the track. Definitely!
NO WAY!!!! Totally awesome composition. I love the way you captured some fog/mist too. My eye just wants to follow that track right off the borders and into the horizon.Kathy
Thank you, Kathy! It was one of those moments where you just couldn't believe your luck - everything and everyone was in the perfect place - all I had to do was lift my camera and take the shot! :)
They are in much better shape than the tracks in the photo I just added to my Flickr photostream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26473210@N04/ Aren't railroad tracks fascinating, though? Beautifully done, Angie. The black and white is certainly the correct choice, too, in my opinion.
I will go and check these out, Evelyn. And, thanks! :)Railroad tracks are fascinating, yes. I feel the same way as you in that regard. And thank you for the lovely compliment! xo
